
If all else looks bleak it can often be a good idea to just bite the bullet and grab a spare disk partition or whole drive and do a full clean Windows install there and try installing ILM, pro tools and the minimum needed drivers there (e.g. Make sure you do *not* have the 2i2 selected as the Windows sound device. I would hope you do not need ASIO4ALL to get the focusrite 2i2 running, and that is usually better if it can be avoided, but I am not sure on the status there, if you do need ASIO4ALL that reflects very badly on Focusrite product engineering. Start at the "help us help you" link up top of this web page for an idea of the type of information expected, general troubleshooting and optimization info etc.

And if you want help here you really need to provide much clearer description of what is happening, exact error messages and what interface driver versions you have installed etc.
